The player in the spotlight this month is maddog_in_the_house 3000, known to most of us as Jeff.

Jeff was born in Martinsville, Indiana, on 3 March 1960. It was a very snowy day when he was born in his mom and dad’s car. Then they took him to the hospital, where they gave him the best of care till they took him home for the first time. He had a very rocky time because they had a fire in the kitchen where he was sitting and everybody got out but Jeff. The fireman got him out in time and said that he was one lucky baby. Then as time went on they moved to another house and one day it caught on fire from a gas dryer and baby Jeff was in the kitchen in a high-chair - once again he was rescued by a fireman. The fireman said it was strange that the high-chair was never touched in the fire. Then his mom and dad split up and got a divorce. Jeff and his brothers were sent to their grandparents in Pennington Gap, Virginia where he lived there for 7 years. Then his mom remarried and got papers to bring them back with her and their new dad.

Jeff now lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he is a diesel mechanic.

He joined Mountain Euchre about 5 or 6 years ago. His favourite partner is hkvikes – he was the first one he ever partnered and the one he wins with most. However he enjoys partnering with everyone and it’s hard to pick just one.

Jeff says he is friends with everyone on Mountain.

Jeff is married to Vickie. They met 28 years ago at a store called Airway (now its called Target). She worked in ladies wear and Jeff was a cart attendant. Well at first she didn't want to have much to do with Jeff, but I guess he changed her mind because they got married a year after that. Like all people they had their ups and downs but they seemed to have made their way through them. They had a baby boy a year later - his name is Brian, who Mountain knows as Pure_arrogance2006. Brian now lives in Ohio where he is getting ready for his marriage to Kelley who you all know as Ms_nytingayle_69 . Jeff and Vickie are glad to have her in the family and wish them the best in their lives. Then after a number of years they had another baby boy his name is Jeffrey, known on the Mountain as f1r3.d3m0n.

Jeff has met Charley Pride, Donnie and Marie, Kenny Rogers, and a lot more country singers. He met these stars when Vickie won a trip to Nashville on a radio station called WFMS. They called her name and she was at the store, so Jeff called the radio station and told them that he was her husband and she had just left to go to the store. They told him to find her and have her call them as soon as she could. So he left to find her at Krogers - she called them and they went to Nashville where they met all these singers.

One evening while Jeff was working at a Walgreens store, a guy came in to rob them – Jeff tackled him and they both fought on the ground and Jeff managed to keep him from getting away with a lot of money – however he ran away, after which Jeff helped the police catch the guy and put him behind bars.

Jeff and Vickie have two cats - one black and one white. The first one is solid black - his name is shadow and the other one is solid white which they named angel and they both have brought joy and love to their family.

This months Pet Article features Gloopy's pets

Our 3 boobed, green woman has 4 cats. Three live at the house and as most of you know Trucker works with her, trucking long haul. The other three are Mr.White, Wooffie, and Rusty.
Rusty is a bit unusual, as he has the cat equivalent of Downs Syndrome. He lives in one room coming out only to use the bathroom and food dish. I have never held him or petted him. He is afraid of shadows, noise, humans, dust bunnies...you get the drift.
Funniest moment: Gloop was delivering on the docks in New York and was very bored. She wasn’t able to get out of the truck for safety reasons and she and Trucker needed some fun. While munching on popcorn she noticed many, many seagulls outside on the beach. So she took the popcorn, threw it all over the hood, and the roof of the truck and voila! 500 birds all over the truck !!! Trucker went insane and she was laughing so hard. Gloop says she couldn’t even see, there were so many birds! The cat was throwing herself at the windshield screaming and purring!! They had a blast :)
All her cats are special in their own way. However, Gloopy admits that Trucker has a special place in her heart. They live together in close quarters 75% of the time. She is a wonderful companion and without her she says she would be very lonely
Trucker entertains Gloopy with her wildness and her adaptability and cuddles Gloopy but at HER whim and yes, Trucker also screams at all the cars and trees to get out of our way !!!
